REDCAT Fall Season Opener Postponed -- New Opera by Richard Foreman and Michael Gordon will open Fall 2006

August 1, Los Angeles -- The world premiere of What to Wear?, the new contemporary opera by Michael Gordon and Richard Foreman produced by Center for New Theater (CNT) at CalArts, in association with the CalArts New Century Players, has been postponed to the Fall of 2006 at the request of Director/librettist Foreman due to medical reasons. REDCAT will announce the replacement for the season opener along with its entire 3rd season line in late August 2005.

CNT is currently producing two European tours of productions that premiered at REDCAT last season: Macbeth (A Modern Ecstasy) with Stephen Dillane, directed by Travis Preston, will be presented at the Almeida Theatre in London on October 26, 2005, and 11 September 2001 by Michel Vinaver will open in France, Spring 2006, and include performances in Dijon, Montpellier and Paris at the prestigious Théâtre du Colline.
