A phantasmagorical evening with the actress, writer, performer and lead singer/lyricist of the cult band Bongwater, featuring music, monologues, video and surprises. A vibrant presence on the New York and Los Angeles art and music scenes, Magnuson debuts a selection of new songs and spoken word from her new CD Pretty Songs & Ugly Stories. Her first collection of all-new material since The Luv Show, the album is a swirling confection of Baroque Pop and psycho-sexual angst sprinkled with sly wit and hard-won wisdom. Magnuson is accompanied by a full glam-rock band under the direction of producer Kristian Hoffman -- along with some very special guests.
