The Sharon Disney Lund School of Dance presents its annual year-end showcase of innovative dance. This year’s featured artists are distinguished choreographers Jeanine Durning, winner of a 2007 Alpert Award in the Arts; Rosanna Gamson, founder of the acclaimed Los Angeles company World Wide; and Colin Connor, a CalArts faculty member whose commissions, now numbering more than 40, span the worlds of contemporary, ballet and flamenco companies. The program includes repertory pieces by Durning and Gamson, a newly commissioned work by Connor, and sumptuous new dances by CalArts’ most accomplished student choreographers.
