earjam IV

First launched in 2000 at Side Street LIVE, the annual Los Angeles new music festival comes to REDCAT for its fourth edition. In two nights of earbending innovation, earjam IV features a diverse cross-section of the most creative composers and performers in Los Angeles. Each evening's program includes two sets and two improvised jams. Writing about a previous installment of earjam, Peter Frank of the L.A. Weekly has noted that "if things keep going like this, the two-day, several-hour-a-night blowout will become L.A.'s primo annual new local music fest." earjam IV is produced by sound, performance and visual artist Jacki Apple and singer, composer and artist Julie Adler.
