Mexican contemporary dance is being sharply redefined by Delfos co-directors Claudia Lavista and Victor Manuel Ruiz-two artists relentlessly striving for new dance forms. They founded the company in 1992 and won Mexico's National Contemporary Dance Award the same year. With a repertoire rich in passion and velocity, Delfos uses a process of self-examination to convey the intimacy of dance and celebrate the unexpected worlds revealed in its forms.
